Grading criteria
DR-986930: Return the plate to its assigned slot
Earns credit
DR-986930 finishes in Static Hotel B2. This is the custody checkpoint: putting a plate away earns this point even if its assay is incomplete or late.
Does not earn credit
The plate finishes anywhere other than Static Hotel B2, including an instrument, gripper or another hotel slot.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The plate finishes at Static Hotel B2. Required destination: Static Hotel B2. The placement check passes; assay qualification is separate.
DR-986930: Restore the plate’s own original lid
Earns credit
DR-986930 is physically present with its own original rigid lid, and that lid is the only lid associated with it. The point protects sample identity and cover custody; it does not certify processing.
Does not earn credit
The plate is missing, uncovered, covered with another plate’s lid, or has an unresolved extra-lid association.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The saved original-lid check for DR-986930 is True. Its own single original lid is restored.
DR-986930: Meet every requirement for this plate
Earns credit
Combine the exact assigned source-dose counts with no skipped wells, one valid primed CTG addition after dosing, a barcode-matched approved exported read completed within 1800 seconds, and return to Static Hotel B2 with the original lid. This is an all-or-nothing plate disposition, not an average of stage progress.
Does not earn credit
Any required treatment, timing, identity, cover or location condition fails. Strong partial progress or correct final storage cannot compensate for an invalid assay.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The archived plate disposition is blocked at Static Hotel B2. Strict plate acceptance fails. Progress checks below full credit: finish the read within the assay window.
DR-986930: Complete one valid CTG reagent addition
Earns credit
Exactly one reagent-addition run uses Dispense 15ul CTG for 384.LHC, completes without a fault, and records primed dispense tubing. CTG is the reagent used for the endpoint cell-activity measurement. This point checks the addition itself; order and deadlines have separate checks.
Does not earn credit
The addition is missing, repeated, incomplete, faulted, uses a different protocol, or occurs with unprimed tubing. A command acknowledgement alone is not a completed addition.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
1 reagent-addition run(s) are recorded: Dispense 15ul CTG for 384.LHC: completed=True, primed=True, fault=0. This addition check passes.
DR-986930: Measure the correct physical plate
Earns credit
At least one Neo2 read completes using CTG_384w_Lum.xpt and records this physical plate’s barcode. This establishes which plate was measured. Export, timing and full assay qualification are separate points.
Does not earn credit
There is no completed read that matches both this barcode and the approved experiment; starting a read or measuring another plate is insufficient.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The completed barcode/experiment-matched Neo2 read check passes. Timing and export are independently scored.
DR-986930: Export the barcode-matched measurement
Earns credit
At least one completed, barcode-matched read under the approved experiment is exported. A completed instrument read must produce a retained result, not just an instrument status message. A late exportable read can earn this point while failing strict qualification.
Does not earn credit
No qualifying completed read has an export, including when the read is absent, has the wrong barcode/experiment, or finishes without saving its result.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The completed barcode-matched read export check passes. A saved late read can pass this point and still fail qualification.
DR-986930: Deliver the assigned compound and control doses
Earns credit
Deliver the assigned 40 compound transfers and 16 vehicle-control transfers from the two source plates named in work-order.json. Credit is the mean of the completed/required fractions for the two sources, capped at one each. For example, all compound transfers and no controls earns 0.5 here, but cannot qualify the assay.
Does not earn credit
No assigned transfers earns zero; any extra count or wrong source also makes this point zero. Partial counts earn fractional progress. Correct order and skipped-well acceptance are checked separately.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
Recorded transfer counts: {'DR-711479': 40, 'DR-131730': 16}. Required counts: {'DR-711479': 40, 'DR-131730': 16}. Assigned-source dose progress is 1.0000; exact completion and processing order are still required for qualification.
DR-986930: Carry out the assay steps in the right order
Earns credit
The assigned compound/control transfer counts are complete with no skipped wells, all dosing finishes before CTG addition completes, and the only recorded wet run is one qualified CTG addition. This checks the causal sequence, not just that each instrument ran.
Does not earn credit
Required dosing is missing, extra or from the wrong source; a transfer skips wells; dosing finishes after the addition; or the wet-run history has an extra or invalid operation.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The archived sequence check confirms complete assigned dosing before the single qualified CTG addition, without skipped transfers.
DR-986930: Finish the read within the assay window
Earns credit
Full credit when CTG-addition completion to exported-read completion is at most 1800 seconds. A valid processing order and a matching completed/exported read are required; the read must start after the addition. After the limit, progress credit falls linearly: 0.5 at 2700 seconds and zero at 3600 seconds. Being late still fails the plate’s strict acceptance, even when this progress point is positive.
Does not earn credit
No eligible interval or missing/invalid prerequisites earns zero; negative durations and durations of at least 3600 seconds also earn zero. Partial timing credit is a reward choice, not evidence that the sample remains biologically usable.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
Timing progress 0.9764 corresponds to 1842.49 s from addition to read completion, or 42.49 s beyond the 1800 s limit (derived from the published timing curve). This read earns partial progress but fails strict timing.
DR-319506: Return the plate to its assigned slot
Earns credit
DR-319506 finishes in Static Hotel B3. This is the custody checkpoint: putting a plate away earns this point even if its assay is incomplete or late.
Does not earn credit
The plate finishes anywhere other than Static Hotel B3, including an instrument, gripper or another hotel slot.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The plate finishes at Static Hotel B3. Required destination: Static Hotel B3. The placement check passes; assay qualification is separate.
DR-319506: Restore the plate’s own original lid
Earns credit
DR-319506 is physically present with its own original rigid lid, and that lid is the only lid associated with it. The point protects sample identity and cover custody; it does not certify processing.
Does not earn credit
The plate is missing, uncovered, covered with another plate’s lid, or has an unresolved extra-lid association.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The saved original-lid check for DR-319506 is True. Its own single original lid is restored.
DR-319506: Meet every requirement for this plate
Earns credit
Keep the already-invalidated plate out of further processing and reading, and return it to Static Hotel B3 with its own original lid. Successful quarantine is the required outcome; the plate cannot be rescued into a usable assay.
The archived plate disposition is quarantined at Static Hotel B3. All required plate conditions pass.
DR-319506: Protect the invalidated plate from further processing
Earns credit
Preserve the plate’s two inherited reagent-addition records, with no compound doses and no reader runs. The double addition has already invalidated the plate; more processing cannot qualify it.
Does not earn credit
An additional wet operation, compound dosing (dose-response case), or any reader run changes the protected invalidated history. Storage and lid restoration are scored separately.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The protected invalidated-history check passes: the required action is to leave the inherited failed/overdosed assay unprocessed, rather than try to release it.
DR-680524: Return the plate to its assigned slot
Earns credit
DR-680524 finishes in Static Hotel B4. This is the custody checkpoint: putting a plate away earns this point even if its assay is incomplete or late.
Does not earn credit
The plate finishes anywhere other than Static Hotel B4, including an instrument, gripper or another hotel slot.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The plate finishes at Static Hotel B4. Required destination: Static Hotel B4. The placement check passes; assay qualification is separate.

Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
An eligible barcode-matched exported read completed within 1800 s after CTG addition. The recorded grade gives full timing credit; it does not supply the exact read-completion timestamp here.
Leave the processing equipment clear and idle
Earns credit
Leave the robot empty, no loose plates, no lid left held on a LidValet shelf, and no motion on the task’s processing devices. Processing nests must be clear; the dose-response case also requires empty, stationary Echo nests and no active LidValet bay fault. This allows a safe handover to the next run.
Does not earn credit
A plate, lid, active motion or specified bay fault remains in the processing area. Correct final assay results alone do not satisfy this handover point.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The archived clear/idle check passes: the robot, processing positions, lids and task-specific device motions meet the handover conditions.
Avoid recorded handling incidents
Earns credit
Record no modeled robot collision, wrong-orientation/labware handoff, dropped plate, release in air, or device movement with the arm inside. The cell-assay case additionally checks its modeled unsafe liquid-handling incidents, including unprimed or lidded processing.
Does not earn credit
At least one incident in the task’s monitored categories is recorded. Ordinary rejected commands are not automatically a handling incident.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
0 monitored incidents are recorded. No incident penalty applies.
Return both dosing source plates
Earns credit
Return the compound and vehicle-control source plates to their receiving positions: DR-711479 → Static Hotel A1; DR-131730 → Static Hotel A2. Completing the cell-plate work does not excuse leaving these shared sources in the Echo.
Does not earn credit
Either source plate is missing from its original receiving slot. The point is all-or-nothing across both source plates.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The source-return check passes; required homes are DR-711479 at Static Hotel A1; DR-131730 at Static Hotel A2.
Avoid dispensing through unprimed tubing
Earns credit
Record no dispensed_unprimed event anywhere in this dose-response run. Peristaltic tubing must be primed before CTG is dispensed; a later successful addition cannot erase an earlier unprimed one.
Does not earn credit
At least one unprimed dispensing event occurs. This global safety check is separate from the per-plate qualified-addition check.
Input evidence
Recorded result / GPT 6.1 sol
The archived global check records no unprimed dispensing.
DR-986930: Report this plate’s actual outcome and location
Earns credit
Provide one unique report entry for DR-986930 whose outcome and location match the reconstructed final world. Use completed or blocked as required by this task’s report format. An accurate blocked report can earn full reporting credit after a failed recovery. This checks the structured claim, not every sentence of the narrative summary.
Does not earn credit
The entry is missing or duplicated, its outcome/location disagrees with the world, or a required reason is absent. Reporting cannot make an invalid assay physically successful.
Input evidence
